Couplings and fire fighting fittings in this catalogue are, unless otherwise stated, designed for a permissible operating pressure of 16 bar (1600kPa).
The strength test is carried out with water, at 1,5 times the specified permissible operating pressure.
The leak test of water-carrying fire fighting fittings is also carried out with water, in accordance with DIN EN 12266, Part 2.
